Job Title: Freelance Lead Offshore Structural Engineer Location: Zuid Holland, Netherlands Contract Type: Full-time, 12-month contract Rate: 80-90 euros per hour Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement structural engineering solutions for offshore and marine applications, focusing on platforms, vessels, and related infrastructure. Support lead engineers in ensuring structural designs meet project requirements, safety standards, and industry regulations. Perform structural analyses for offshore environments, including load-bearing calculations, fatigue analysis, and material selection. Provide detailed engineering drawings, including structural layouts, plans, and supporting documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure efficient integration of structural systems into larger offshore projects. Requirements: Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, including design, analysis, and maintenance for offshore and marine applications. Proficiency with structural design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit). Experience with offshore safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., DNV GL, ISO 19901-1).
