Position: C++ Software EngineerLocation: AmsterdamOur quantitative trading team is growing, and we are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to enhance and maintain our proprietary trading system.Our trading and research infrastructure is built on custom-developed hardware tailored to our current needs. As we expand, we need someone who can leverage software engineering to boost our trading capacity.Responsibilities:Design and develop intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing trading interfaces to streamline the trading process.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quantitative traders, researchers, and developers, to create an efficient trading experience.Enhance existing models and develop new technologies to support new strategies through statistical analysis and data mining.Utilize and contribute to our internally developed libraries and extensive market databases.Requirements:Proficiency in C++ and Python.Knowledge of data streaming solutions such as Redis and Kafka.Experience with (non-)relational databases, back testing frameworks, and financial data is advantageous.A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
