Responsibilities

  1. Ensure compliance with global trade laws, regulations, and sanctions in import and export operations.
  2. Monitor regulatory changes related to tariffs and sanctions, keeping stakeholders informed.
  3. Act as the organization''s trade compliance expert.
  4. Collaborate with legal, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions for trade compliance issues.
  6. Monitor sanctions and embargo lists to avoid engagement with restricted entities or countries.
  7. Identify and mitigate risks in transportation and trade compliance, including ESG factors (e.g., CBAM, EUDR).
  8. Participate in internal and external audits or assessments, ensuring prompt resolution of findings.
  9. Ensure suppliers and logistics partners comply with the organization''s trade requirements through due diligence and regular reviews.
  10. Maintain accurate ERP master data for goods classification, duties, and tariffs.

Experience and Personal Competencies

  1. Minimum of 2+ years of operational experience in a relevant position, with a solid understanding of the end-to-end supply chain process.
  2. In-depth knowledge of export control, trade compliance, and risk management.
  3. A Masters degree in Business, Law, Supply Chain Compliance, or a related field in Trade Management is an advantage.
  4. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and effectively collaborate with employees of diverse skill sets.
  5. Minimum 2+ years of experience working with ERP systems.
  6. Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI.
  7. Very good command of written and spoken English.

  2. Flexible working hours with the option to start between 6:00 and 9:00.
  3. Hybrid work model a minimum of 3 days per week in the office (the office is located in Plewiska near Poznan).
