We are looking for a motivated Banquet Supervisor tojoin our pre-opening team. The role will report to the Director ofFood & Beverage. Conveniently located adjacent to Rome TerminiStation and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room HyattRegency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offeringpremium business services and one of Italys most dazzling leisurerooftop experiences. The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food& beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues. Mainduties and responsibilities - Oversee the setup, execution andbreakdown of all meetings, events, and banquets, ensuring alignmentwith event orders and hotel standards. - Supervise operationsacross 5 meeting rooms and 1 ballroom, with capacities up to 500guests. - Act as on-site contact for clients and event organizersduring functions. - Lead pre-shift briefings with permanent andcasual staff to align on responsibilities, standards, and guestexpectations. - Ensure mise en place is completed prior to eachevent, including coffee breaks, buffets, stations, and AV setup. -Coordinate last-minute changes efficiently and maintain flexibilityunder pressure. - Guarantee smooth transition between consecutiveevents or multiple set-ups in the same day. - Work closely withMICE and Sales team to understand client needs and anticipatespecial requests. - Maintain constant communication with Kitchen,Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office to ensuresynchronized service delivery. - Attend daily F&B and weeklyfunction meetings to provide updates and gather operationalinsights. - Create weekly schedules in collaboration with theAssistant F&B Manager. - Ensure proper handling, maintenanceand storage of all banquet equipment and supplies. - Promote acourteous and professional environment for all guests and clients.- Whenever possible support F&B service team on R&Boperation. Skills and requirements: Minimum 2 years of experiencein a similar role in an upscale or luxury hotel environment.Excellent written and verbal communication in both Italian andEnglish. Proficient in the use of Simphony POS and Microsoft OfficeSuite. Strong leadership, organizational and time-managementskills. Deep knowledge of banqueting standards, event servicestyles and operational logistics.
