Reporting directly to the Associate General Counsel and head of the Contracting Services Group, the Paralegal will perform paralegal responsibilities in a variable environment. Paralegal must possess complex problem solving abilities, and a responsible nature. Position requires a significant degree of knowledge, decision-making skills and ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion with mnimal oversight.**Key Responsibilities**:- Draft, review, and analyze legal documents and correspondence.- Conduct and analyze legal research and draft memoranda.- Perform due diligence review and analysis and draft and revise documents.- Manage and track all incoming requests to the Contracting Services Group, and prioritize and triage same.- Exhibit and utilize technical expertise with respect to new and existing document management technology including managing knowledge sharing using departmental DMS systems and other ICANN databases.- Maintain knowledge of ICANN form contracts and templates including managing updates, edits and reviews as needed in paralegals independent judgment and discretion.- Perform other functions that require sophisticated legal knowledge, general business acumen, and expertise in all types of legal procedures and software.**Required Skills**:- Proven problem solving skills with ability to comprehend complex information and apply sound, independent judgment and discretion.- Ability to work independently with only mnimal supervision- Excellent analytical ability- Attention to detail.
