As an Application Manager, you will ensure that software applications within the organization run smoothly, align with business goals, and meet user needs. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, communication skills, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Management:
- Ensure application availability, performance, and functionality.
- Monitor and resolve issues (incident management).
- Implement updates, patches, and security enhancements.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Serve as a liaison between IT teams and application users.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
- Provide guidance on application capabilities and limitations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in IT.
- Strong stakeholder and project management experience.
- Solid organizational skills with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Expertise in budget management and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and meeting delivery standards.
- Certifications in ITIL, Prince2, or SAFe (required).
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- A combination of technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and organizational insight.
