Love TV Channels, a Barcelona-based startup, produces high-quality, thematic, and localized Free Advertising-Supported TV (FAST) channels across Europe and America. We are looking for a Content Assistant Intern in order to support the Content team on content curation, and on the acquisition of finished content for our TV channels. We are looking for a passionate and resourceful student, based in Barcelona. This position is an internship.
The responsibilities for this role are:
Content Curation Daily curation of movies and series trailers and making-off for our channel Trailers Monitoring cinema releases and create a regularly updated calendar Watch trailers, qualify them and create the corresponding metadatas (genre, rating, release date etc.) Curate and create thematic blocks Copywriting in Castellan and English Internal coordination with local teams and programming team Help curating short form news about the entertainment industry
Content Licensing Screen, analyze and select programs among distributors catalogues in order to build several TV channels (fiction and non-fiction) Update and enrich our programs database Help preparing TV and Film markets Conduct benchmarks on TV and Streaming Industry Create and update Powerpoint presentations
And these are the requirements and qualifications for the position: Cinema and television passionate with strong knowledge on content trends Preparing a degree in Audiovisual, Communication, Business or Related fields Proficiency of Powerpoint / Canva Proficiency in basic Excel functions Basic knowledge of Photoshop is a plus Video editing skills is a plus Curiosity, precision and strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple topics simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Good communication skills Fluent in Spanish Professional level of English
