Position : Business Developer Office Interior Design Sector (General Contractors Design Studios)
Position Objective
The selected candidate will be responsible for expanding the companys commercial presence in the office interior solutions sector, with a specific focus on general contractors, design studios, and corporate clients. They will manage the entire business development process: from mapping opportunities to handling negotiations and finalizing commercial agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the client portfolio by acquiring new contacts among architecture firms, interior designers, and companies active in the contract sector.
- Manage complex and long-term business relationships in coordination with the technical and design departments.
- Promote modular and customized furniture solutions, contributing to the enhancement of the companys offering.
- Participate in trade fairs, events, and networking activities to increase brand visibility within the target market.
- Conduct ongoing market monitoring, including competitors and industry trends.
- Collaborate in defining commercial strategies and development plans for priority geographical areas.
Requirements
- At least 35 years of experience in commercial roles within office furniture, contract, construction, or interior design sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of the world of general contractors and design studios.
- Strong ability to build trusted relationships and manage medium- to long-term negotiations.
- Results-oriented mindset, with proactivity and strong operational autonomy.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and abroad.
- Excellent command of Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
