Our client, a Belgian-based Financial Bank, is looking for a Senior Cloud Native Developer / Engineer with more than five years of experience creating designs and codes for cloud applications.

This Belgian bank is internationally active and established in several European countries. It offers a full range of banking products and, therefore, strongly focuses on digital and technological innovation. You will work within one of the teams that focuses on one of the core systems, ensuring continuous improvement and deployment.

Activities:

• You comprehend the functional design based on the functional specifications;
• You draw up the program structure based on the technical design;
• You work with micro-services design, API integration, lambda and container technology;
• You create and execute tests cases and modify existing programs for production;
• You design related changes to be updated in the design document;
• You conduct self & peer code review;
• You resolve the assigned incidents and defects and track to closure;
• You execute technical integration testing of the application concerning interfacing applications.

Skills:

• Build and release pipelines CI/CD pipeline
• English language / Dutch will be a pre

Technical Skills:

Perl, Python, IntelliJ, Jenkins, Typescript, Linux, elastic APM, SonarQube, Bladelogic, Github/Bitbucket, Confluence (preferably also knowledge of other Atlassian products), Azure/AWS, Apple Mac

Next to a proven experience in cloud software development and testing, you have the following core competencies:
