Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$22.00/yr - $22.06/yrResponsibilitiesSupervise children and youth aged 6 weeks to 18 years during daily indoor and outdoor activities, field trips, outings, and special events.Plan, coordinate, and conduct activities based on observed needs; prepare and implement program options for children and youth with special requirements.Instruct team members, provide written instructions, and explain policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with DoD and local standards; maintain certification and accreditation standards.Complete required training and perform related duties as assigned.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentMust be 18 years or older at employment.Direct Deposit and Social Security Card required.Meet qualification, physical, and background requirements.Have a current health assessment, immunizations, and possibly a probationary period.Complete Lead Foundation Level training and annual requirements.Work hours may include evenings and weekends.Must be physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs., walking, bending, and standing.Report suspected child abuse/neglect incidents.Administer medications, perform CPR/First Aid, and accommodate children with special needs if trained.Travel may be required.Work indoors and outdoors.Satisfactory background checks required.QualificationsAll candidates must:Possess a high school diploma or GED.Communicate effectively in English.Additional requirements:One of the following: Child Development Associate Credential, Military School Age Credential, Army Youth Practicum, or other recognized Youth Development Credential.OR two years of experience in a group program plus an associate''s degree or 60 semester hours related to the age group.OR a bachelor''s degree or 120 semester hours with relevant content.OR 24 months of experience with DoD approved training documentation.Preferred ExperienceAssisting with accreditation processes.Participating in program inspections.Working with various age groups.Leading or mentoring staff.Education DocumentationProvide transcripts or proof of education and training completion as specified.Additional InformationThe area of consideration is Vicenza, Italy.
