A well-reputed start-up-esque proprietary trading firm based in Amsterdam, is looking to hire a talented C++ developer to join its team. The company specializes in algorithmic trading strategies for traditional asset classes (equities, options, futures) and engage in highly sophisticated and strategic trading activities, harnessing the power of technology to drive profitability and capitalize on market opportunities. Your role as a senior C++ developer will entail working directly with traders to enhance internal modules within the companys core trading system, as well as developing, supporting and owning trading automation components. You will contribute to everything from optimizing trading systems for performance to building exchange connectivity to more venues. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced industry professional to join an environment founded on the principles of humility, openness, collaboration and a flat organizational structure that is free of politics. What were looking for: Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or similar Excellent C++ programming skills in a linux environment (ideally v17/20) 3-6 years industry experience (in prop trading/market making ideal, tech firms considered) Solid knowledge of STL, algorithms, and multithreading; Experience with developing and supporting trading systems and/or willingness to build a strong understanding of this domain; Good English communication skills and ability to liaise with a breadth of stakeholders internally. This is a full-time, hybrid position based Amsterdam. Compensation and benefits are highly competitive, and contingent on experience.
