We are looking for a Research Associate for a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on immunotherapies and based in Flanders (Brabant).
Your Role
As a Research Associate you perform the daily laboratory activities to analyse the efficacy, mechanism of action and the immune responses generated by the PLLAV vector vaccine. This in collaboration with in- and external professionals.
Your main responsibilities:
- Independently plan and execute in vivo studies in accordance with the applicable regulations;
- Perform a wide variety of immunological assays (ELISPOT, flow cytometry, ELISA, multiplex cytokine) and analyze the results;
- Presentation of the results and contribute to the writing of reports;
- Contribute to laboratory protocol writing.
Your Profile
- Bachelor or Master degree in Biomedical sciences/ Biochemistry/Biology/Biomedical Laboratory Technology;
- FELASA B or C certification, hands-on experience and affinity with in vivo animal models;
- Hands-on experience with aseptical sample handling and (primary) cell culture;
- Experienced in setting up and performing various cell culture assays;
- Experienced in working with infectious agents;
- English: full proficiency;
- Curious and eager to learn; detail oriented, critical mind, skilled in reporting and execution, teamplayer, hands-on, ''can do'' attitude.
