What will you do?

The Information Security Officer plays a significant role within Bizzdesigns Security & Compliance Team. In this dynamic role, you will design, develop, and maintain policies, procedures, and (technical) controls aligned with information security frameworks. Currently, Bizzdesign holds several (Information) Security certifications and attestations.

As a result of two mergers, several interesting projects are planned in order to optimize and improve the overall security management and posture of the future group.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintain and update information security systems, policies, and procedures.
• Review and publish client security policies with stakeholders.
• Promote security best practices and raise awareness across the business.
• Monitor risks, ensure mitigation, and communicate progress.
• Drive continuous security improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Provide security information to clients and respond to inquiries.
• Support audits, identify risks, recommend countermeasures, and develop solutions.
• Assist with security transformation projects, including compliance initiatives.
• Report and track security incidents and implement resolutions.
• Review test reports, conduct vulnerability scans, and support external audits.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• CISSP/CISM certification preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• 13 years of experience in InfoSec or eagerness to learn.
• Able to work from our Netherlands office (Utrecht/Enschede) at least 2 days/week.
• Flexible hours to support international teams across time zones.
• Strong multitasking skills and perform well under pressure.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Good communicator with integrity and genuine interest in people.

Recruitment process:

1st Interview with our Internal Recruiter (online | 45 minutes)

2nd Interview with our Chief Information Security Officer (face to face | 1 hour)

3rd Interview with the Information Security Manager and CISO (face to face / online | 1 hour)
