This is a hands-on leadership role where you will shape strategy, build and manage a high-performing team, and contribute directly to the design and deployment of advanced AI systems.Key Responsibilities:Lead the vision and execution of Biorce’s open-source AI strategyDesign, build, and deploy advanced language models and AI systemsWork hands-on with model development, experimentation, and deploymentFine-tune and optimize existing large language models for production use casesDevelop and implement agentic workflows to power autonomous AI systemsBuild, hire, and manage a team of 6–8 engineers, fostering a high-performance cultureCollaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teamsRepresent Biorce within the open-source and AI communityRequirementsProven hands-on experience building language learning models (LLMs or similar NLP systems)Strong experience fine-tuning and adapting existing large language modelsDemonstrated experience hiring, leading, and scaling engineering teams (6–8 engineers or more)Deep understanding of agentic workflows and autonomous AI systemsExperience deploying AI systems at scale in production environmentsFamiliarity with reinforcement learning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or multimodal modelsStrong programming skills (e.g., Python) and familiarity with modern ML frameworksExperience working with open-source AI tools and contributing to open-source projectsAbility to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical executionWhy Join Us?A dynamic work environment with an international team, where collaboration and diversity thrive.Work alongside top talent, united by a shared purpose and committed to making a real impact.
