This role is essential in transforming ideas from the prototyping phase to industrialization and certification processes.The focus is on structural materials, with particular emphasis on metal sheet work and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, especially in sheet metal part development. This role involves close collaboration with R&D and production departments to ensure product feasibility, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Develop innovative solutions for sheet metal treatment, focusing on cutting, bending, welding, and advanced techniques.Design 3D models and 2D drawings of sheet metal parts and assemblies.Define technical specifications, tolerances, and material choices.Create documentation for industrialization and certification phases.Collaborate with teams to address challenges in strategic infrastructure, naval, and medical sectors, delivering tailored solutions.Manage product development projects, focusing on practical and feasible solutions, contributing to prototyping and testing phases.Work closely with customers to understand their needs, solve complex problems, and provide practical solutions.Qualifications:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience is strongly recommended.3-4 years of practical experience in sheet metal work and design (cutting, bending, advanced processes) with a passion for the field.Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Inventor or similar).Planning mindset to manage project development following milestones independently.Proactive approach to solving technical challenges, especially in high-complexity sectors like infrastructure, naval, and medical devices.Experience in workshops and manufacturing plants or a strong willingness to understand production processes firsthand.While an engineering background is strongly recommended, hands-on experience and a strong drive are key to success.
