We are looking for a Commodity Buyer to join our teamin Cologna Veneta (VR) plant. The successful candidate will beresponsible for select and manage the assigned suppliers of theCommodity to achieve the defined targets. Main Objectives: -complywith all the applicable rules and procedures and behave in atransparent, fair and professional way in the relationship insideand outside the company; -annual cost reduction; -supply lead time,DIO, DPO; -define, share, execute and update the Commodity Strategy(Kraljic matrix needed) jointly with GCL -manage the relationshipwith the internal customers and ensure their satisfaction; -managethe relationship with the suppliers, negotiate and manage purchaseorders and supply agreements to reach the targets, consistentlywith the Comm. Strategy; -expedite critical supplies and be part ofthe escalation process; -scout, assess and start up new suppliers;-evaluate jointly with the other involved Dpt (Supply Chain,Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, etc.) the on-going suppliersthrough specific KPIs, define and follow up possibleimprovement/recover plans. Must have: - at least 5 yrs experiencein buyer role in a multinational Company or large sized Company ofMachining or sides Industry; - experience in managing Metallicpurchasing Required skills: - communication skills (reporting,presentation) - fluent spoken and written English Microsoft AX2012/Dynamics 365 (at least with other ERP system) - Tesi Square -ESG management for the supply chain Education: Degree/Master Degreein Engineering. Mobility: Required to travel mainly in Europe tovisit the other Companys premises and the suppliers.
