The role will report to the Front Office Manager. The 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central, located near Rome Termini Station and the Colosseum, is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium services, a spa, multiple F&B outlets, and extensive event spaces.Key responsibilities include:Engaging in Front Office operations, representing senior management, and identifying improvement opportunities.Ensuring the Front Office Team delivers excellent service with personal recognition.Maintaining effective communication within the department and escalating issues when necessary.Sharing daily tasks and procedures with the team.Collaborating with other departments for seamless operations.Ensuring security, safety, and cash handling compliance.Responding to guest complaints, gathering feedback, and building relationships for continuous improvement.Inspecting front office and public areas, taking corrective actions.Addressing guest feedback professionally.Managing VIP interactions and supporting during peak times.Assigning rooms based on guest requests and preferences.Overseeing billing, credit policies, and expenses aligned with revenue goals.Checking billing and credit transactions for compliance and security.Performing additional duties as assigned, possibly serving as manager on duty.Skills and requirements include:Experience in similar roles within lifestyle hotels.Understanding of hotel operations, front desk, and night audit processes.Bachelor''s degree or equivalent in Hotel Management or Business Administration, with 5+ years of Front Office/Guest Service experience, including supervisory roles.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.Familiarity with Opera Cloud is highly desirable.Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.What we offer:A stimulating, collaborative environment in a 5-star hotel.Opportunities for growth and development.Competitive salary package.Worldwide room discounts within the Hyatt portfolio.Join our pre-opening team to create memorable experiences.
