By offering transparent pricing and easy booking, GoEuro makes travel planning simple, flexible and personal.With over 500 European transportation partners across 12 countries, GoEuro is one of Europes fastest growing travel companies backed by 10 million monthly users and the worlds leading tech investors.We are now looking for the next great addition to our team as a Communication Team Lead.As a Communication Team Lead at GoEuro, you willPlay a key role in the Communication strategy of the company focusing on PR on a global scale, primarily across Europe.- Oversee and lead interactions with different stakeholders and PR agencies; ensuring an alignment between the GoEuro brand and our messages- Develop communication plans with a balance between global communication and local needs- Develop PR content, including press releases, news flashes, surveys, etc., after completing thorough research on the topic at hand- Manage media relations and secure press opportunities for the company (eg. manage interviews, coordinate press trip) and organise other potential collaborations- Plan events and other offline activities to grow brand awareness- Manage, lead and develop the communication team**Your profile**:- You have at least 6 years experience in communication with a strong expertise in PR, preferably from both PR agency environment and in in-house communication department, with a relevant consumer brand.- Experience in a start-up environment or a technology related company.- You have experience developing and executing strategic PR plans and initiatives, coupled with hands on experience managing media relations.- Excellent knowledge of the European media landscape - preferably within the consumer travel/ transportation/ business press; knowledge of non-European media landscape in addition will be considered as a plus.- You have amazing spoken and written skills with high attention to details and are capable of finding an exciting angle even with the most mundane topics.- You are as creative as you are organised and always keep up to date with the latest industry innovations and trends.- You are fluent in English; additional languages are always valued at GoEuro.- Demonstrable passion for travel, along with the ability to work in a fast paced environment with ever changing priorities.**Offer**:- An office in the centre of Berlins thriving startup scene- Flat hierarchies and everyday opportunities to learn, grow and develop- A diverse team of over 40 nationalities- Free lunches, yoga, German lessons and more- Competitive compensation and relocation support
