The Survivability Analysis Engineer plays a pivotal role in the development, engineering and testing of structural, ballistic protection solutions for several platforms. You will be part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary project team within GKN Fokker.
We are looking for a driven and flexible Survivability Analysis Engineer to join the Product Engineering Department. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing lightweight composite structures with integrated structural ballistic protection. You will utilize advanced engineering simulation tools to support the design, development, and optimization of cutting-edge ballistic protection solutions.
A solid understanding of fiber-reinforced composite materials is essential. Experience with armor solutions and knowledge of ballistic threats (such as small-caliber projectiles) is a strong advantage.
