Tenure-Track Faculty in Electrical & Computer EngineeringThe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Villanova University invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Electrical Engineering starting in August 2025. Exceptional candidates at higher ranks will also be considered. Candidates with a proven record of research and publications are sought in the broad areas of electric energy systems and signal processing and communications. The Department has established laboratories in these areas, supporting innovative and cutting-edge research.In the area of electric energy systems, the Department supports the Sustainable Energy and Materials Research Laboratory, equipped for development and characterization of batteries, fuel cells, and solar cells. The Department also hosts state-of-the-art laboratories in Radar, Wireless Communications, Antennas, and Microwaves.Position SummaryThe successful candidate will be expected to:Teach undergraduate and graduate courses at all levels of the electrical engineering curriculum.Develop new courses that align with their area of research.Establish a sponsored and sustainable research program.Advise undergraduate and graduate students and projects.Supervise research performed by undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. students.Minimum QualificationsThe successful candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field with strong engineering expertise, a strong record of high-quality publications, the potential to lead an externally-funded research program, and a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and innovation.Application ProcessPlease submit your applications at: https://jobs.villanova.edu.
