The Technical Systems Administrator is responsible forthe overall delivery of the System Architecture Plan and managementof associated resources and activities to ensure that InterSystemssoftware is delivered and deployed in line with projectrequirements. Key Responsibilities: - Execute the process ofdesigning, reviewing and installing all the InterSystems productsincluding TrakCare patches, releases and builds on the requiredcustomer platforms in accordance with quality assurance protocolsand Service Level Agreements as agreed with the customer forsoftware release authorization and installation. - Administrationand maintenance of hosted solutions and related infrastructureworking with other teams or partners as required. - Providetechnical support for troubleshooting and performance analysis forimplementations. - Provide technical support for customdevelopment, i.e. JavaScript, user defined functions, interfaces,reports, extracts, data migration scripts and conversions. -Support and test of TrakCare internal and external utilities, e.g.patching tool, print service, etc. - Assist Presales for anytechnical request such as architecture, configuration, hardwaresizing, etc. - Produce technical documentation such as referencematerials, installation instructions, user guides, knowledge-basedarticles and how-tos. - Participate in on-site technical trainingand implementations activities if required. - Take onresponsibility for scripting, maintenance and verification ofbackups. - Automation of routine activities (deployment of patches, environment replication , etc.. ). - Participate in thecontinuous improvement of the operation processes required todelivery exceptional service quality. - Participate in the on-call24-hour roster service. Qualifications: - Server Administration:In-depth experience in configuring, implementing and administerLinux or UNIX systems (preferred: SUSE/RedHat). - Programming andcoding: ability to work directly with the source code of a systemand develop solutions to improve system-level performance (strongscripting skills). - Information security: familiarity with bestpractices and techniques for maintaining and improving informationsecurity. - Problem-solving capabilities: ability to adopt creativeskills and problem-solving techniques to solve problems or devise anew solution. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. -Managed mission critical infrastructures and applications. - Thecandidate is also required to be available to work (when thesituation requires it e.g., in case of updates of systems in use byend users) outside the usual office hours. Desirable Skills: -Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Nagios, Zabbix,Cacti preferred). - Understanding of networking deployment andmanagement, including load balancers solutions. - Knowledge ofconfiguration management tools as Ansible or Puppet. - Softwaredevelopment environment experience. - ITIL knowledge.
