Please read further if you are interested in building the international logistics operations of one of the worlds most innovative and fastest-growing startups.We are looking for a Head of Country reporting directly to the General Manager UK + Europe. Your responsibilities will include:Warehouse Management: Setting up warehouses and logistics operations.Transport Management: Defining and planning transportation infrastructure.Team and P&L Management: Structuring the team, hiring, and managing the country P&L.< p>As a core leader, you will significantly impact business success by ensuring timely replenishment of Getir Stores, thereby delivering an excellent customer experience. Your key responsibilities include:Serving as the primary contact for the Getir country organization regarding logistics services, acting as their exclusive distribution and transportation provider based on agreed scope, KPIs, and logistics service agreements.Owning the country P&L and strategic planning aligned with Getirs European expansion and Movus European strategy.Designing and implementing logistics infrastructure, including distribution centers, organizational structure, processes, and external services, with support from the Movus Expansion PMO and regional functions.Employing and managing senior staff across warehousing, transportation, HSE, and other areas, who will oversee teams in large distribution centers for supermarket goods.Monitoring monthly KPIs by utilizing data and communication channels with regional and local functions, suppliers, and dealers, focusing on primary business processes such as capacity planning, logistics, invoicing, etc.Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance, asset management, and operational excellence to continually improve performance on Getir KPIs.Representing Movus locally by engaging with authorities and stakeholders.Requirements include:Bachelors Degree; Masters in a relevant field is a plus.15+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles.Fluency in the local language and English.Proven leadership in operations and experience managing C-level relationships.Experience in developing and leading supply chain strategies in a multinational environment, preferably in industrial, FMCG, or logistics sectors across Europe.Hands-on experience with distribution center design and operations, including technical components like warehouse contracts, shelving, cold storage, material handling, and logistics software.Strong understanding of local culture, legal environment, and job market.Skills in project and change management.Data-driven, pragmatic, and results-oriented mindset.Resilience and stress tolerance, maintaining positivity under pressure.Excellent social and intercultural communication skills.Flexibility in working hours and no travel restrictions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
