Camino Search has been exclusively mandated to recruit an M&A Country Lead for a highly acquisitive, PE-backed B2B software business.
Backed by one of Europes most respected and active mid-market private equity investors, our client is executing a buy-and-build strategy with a strong track record in the software sector.
The Role:
This position will be based in France and focused on sourcing and executing acquisitions of France-based software companies with recurring revenues between 2M20M. You will take full ownership of the M&A lifecycle, from origination through to deal execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end M&A process: origination, evaluation, execution, and integration
- Manage multiple live deals simultaneously
- Conduct financial due diligence, build financial models, and support negotiations
- Drive the acquisition of 35 businesses annually
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and external advisors
Candidate Profile:
- 58 years of M&A experience (investment banking, corporate development, or transaction services)
- Strong expertise in FDD, financial modelling, and valuations
- Proven ability to source and close deals independently
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Fluent in French and proficient in English
- Strong academic background
