Job Summary
This position, under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, will be responsible for preparing and releasing quality files according to the Inspection Test Plan (ITP), investigating the root cause of external/internal issues to improve the reliability of internal processes and products delivered by the plant. The candidate shall be able to obtain results with minimal guidance and be accountable for programs and projects assigned by the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage QA/QC documentation: inspection plan (ITP), test procedures, inspection reports, etc.
- Perform inspections in-house and at supplier premises (visual/dimensional, hydrotest, etc.)
- Manage new item and new product qualification processes.
- Manage supplier part approval (PPAP) to completion initially and with every engineering change for new products, engineered packages, and new spare parts.
- Work with the Manufacturing and Technical Service team on quality issues (both internal and customer-related) to achieve effective resolution and results.
- Analyze supplier NCRs and follow up for corrective actions; perform root cause analysis activities.
- Develop, prepare, analyze, and deliver accurate and timely reports (statistical analysis, trends, etc.).
Requirements and Skills
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills in Italian.
- Intermediate English level, both written and spoken.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in quality-related jobs, preferably within manufacturing companies.
- Experience in inspection, hydrotest, and NDE is a strong plus.
- Ability to act with autonomy and responsibility.
- Effective interaction skills with suppliers and customers.
- Ability to organize work while respecting deadlines and commitments.
