Activities:
- Develop, implement and maintain regional production scheduling to meet demand forecasts and production goals.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, production capacity or prioritization.
- Lead a team of supply planners, overseeing raw material ordering and material kit orders.
- Conduct capacity planning to ensure optimal utilization of resources across the region.
- Analyze production data to forecast future capacity needs and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement strategies for capacity expansion and resource optimization.
- Collaborate within supply chain for the EU region, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and shipment of material kits to the manufacturing sites.
- Utilize data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Coordinate demand planning with supply chain, clinical operations and site operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor''s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, capacity planning, or supply chain management, preferably in the biopharmaceutical or cell therapy industry.
- Strong understanding of decentralized manufacturing processes and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment..
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in operations planning software and tools (e.g., ERP, MRP systems).
