Job Opening: Accounting ManagerLocation: Reggio Emilia, ItalyWe are seeking an Accounting Manager for our client, an international company operating in the retail sector. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, organizing, and coordinating the administrative and accounting functions.Main Responsibilities:Manage and supervise general accounting, coordinating accounting and administrative compliance activities;Ensure activities related to corporate taxation and periodic compliance, ensuring adherence to current tax regulations, and support the preparation and submission of tax declarations;Guarantee compliance of processes, procedures, and activities in administrative and fiscal areas;Manage the consolidated reporting closing process for Top Management;Draft the financial statements in collaboration with external consultants;Structure and improve administrative processes;Manage communications with the Bank of Italy.Requirements:Degree in Economics;At least 8 years of experience in a similar role;Knowledge of Italian and IFRS accounting principles;Experience with consolidated financial statements and autonomous closing procedures;Excellent command of English;Proficiency in IT tools, especially Excel and Team System;Additional qualities include flexibility, planning and organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving attitude.Intermedia Selection, a leader in Italy for professional and middle management recruitment, has over 35 consultants based in Milan and Rome.
