Senior Instrumentation Engineer is responsible foractivities related to its discipline within a project or acrossprojects assigned. He/She guides, as Discipline Leader, a group ofinstrumentation engineers assigned to the project, for thedevelopment of deliverables and execution of activities ofinstrumentation and automation discipline according to the projectschedule in compliance with safety and technological requirementsand standards defined for the project. He/She reports to theProject Manager and Process Automation Manager for the projectrelated activities, while reports to the Head of Department forresource management. Requirements - Bachelors Degree inAutomation/Electrical engineering. - Minimum +7/8 years of workexperience in engineering design in Oil & Gas or Power sectorsis preferred. - Proactivity, sense of initiative, ability to workindependently and in a team. - Fluent in Italian and English(written and spoken). - Availability to short and long termnational and international business trips. - We encouragecandidates who may not meet every single requirement to apply, aswe provide opportunities for growth and learning. Main tasks andresponsibilities During the project execution the main tasks andresponsibilities of Senior Instrumentation Engineer are: - Discusswith Project Manager and Head of Department the project executionstrategy and project time schedule - Coordinate the disciplineactivities ensuring consistency with schedule, projectrequirements, technological requirements, safety requirements andstandards defined for the project - Cooperate with otherdisciplines leaders for the project execution - Identifiesdeviations by contract scope of work and their impact on theproject. - Interface with Customer, Vendors and Manufacturers forinstrumentation subjects - Provide instrumentation engineeringexpertise for the design and development of the project - Checksand approves the documentation related to the project beforeissuing - Contribute to Hazard and Operability studies (HazOp),Hazard Identification studies (HazId), risk assessment, SILassignment - Provide technical support to procurement department(Technical Bid Evaluation) As part of the Process Automation andElectrical Department, the Senior Instrumentation Engineer: -Provides feedback to Head of Department to increase efficiency ofthe team assigned to the project - Assist in the development ofdepartmental procedures, standards and work instructions - Trainscolleagues technically according to the needs of the Departmenttransferring competences and sharing experiences - Keeps himselfupdated about the instrumentation design and promotes improvements- Pursues the continuous improvement of his technical andmanagerial competences Possible additional tasks - He/She can beDepartment representative during technical meetings with Customersor Manufacturers. - He/She can be Company representative at plantsite - He/She can be assigned at site aspre-commissioning/commissioning supervisor and start-up supervisorfor all those activities related to plant process automation -He/She can check pre-commissioning, commissioning procedure relatedto plant process automation prepared by others - He/She can assistCustomer during plant running, plant fine tuning and for plant datacollection - He/She can be Company representative for manufacturerinspection - He/She can support Commercial Department in thepreparation of technical proposal and to attend attechnical/commercial meetings--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Junior Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for activitiesrelated to its discipline within a project. He/She as part of agroup of instrumentation engineers assigned to the project, preparedeliverables and execute activities within the Discipline for aspecific project in compliance with safety and technologicalrequirements and standards defined for the project. He/She reportsto the Head of Department, while reports to the InstrumentationDiscipline Leader assigned to the project for the project relatedactivities. Requirements - Bachelors Degree inAutomation/Electrical engineering or Bachelors Degree in Chemicalengineering. - Minimum +2/3 years of work experience in engineeringdesign in Oil & Gas or Power sectors is preferred. -Proactivity, sense of initiative, ability to work independently andin a team. - Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken). -Availability to short and long term national and internationalbusiness trips. - We encourage candidates who may not meet everysingle requirement to apply, as we provide opportunities for growthand learning.
