Are you looking for a challenging role in Sales & Accountmanagement where you can use your existing and expand your leisure network in Germany? Do you want to help us grow in the German market a nd have fun at the same time? What does an Account Manager actually do?
We want to expand our market of hotels in Germany. As a Sales Manager you hold the one of the most experienced positions within the Sales team and drive the team to higher performance. You are responsible for business development of your own substantial group of primarily A-account properties and chain accounts and maintaining a good relationship with the hotels on our platform. In addition to being point of contact for the hotels, you make sure that the deals are visible and findable on our websites. By working together with the marketing team, you ensure that you keep our customers are up to date about our deals tempt them to book one of our hotels. Last but not least you will coach your Sales colleagues to the next level of Account Management.
Creating a balanced relationship with the hotels through daily telephone contact;
Use all available (marketing and sales) resources to offer maximum availability for the best prices;
Supporting hotels with loading of the deals;
You are negotiating profitable partnerships with your accounts and close contractual agreements;
You are responsible for matching our product offers to the customer demands by improving existing products and sales campaigns;
You are keeping your property data up to date in our CRM system;
You contribute to the development of the Sales team by role modelling coaching and by guiding the Sales team to grow in both skills and experience.
What does the HotelSpecials German Sales team look like?
The HotelSpecials German Sales team consists of two junior account managers and a Senior account manager andyou! The team is managed by Elmar. The team works closely together with the Dutch Sales team, the Scandinavian Sales team and the Sales Support team, all with a lot of experience in travel & hospitality.
A completed Bachelor Degree in preferably Tourism and Hotel Management;
Minimum of 4 years experience in Account Management;
Commercial and Sales skills;
Key User knowledge level of Sales CRM applications;
You speak and write fluently German (preferably native) and can communicate easily in English.
