We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join our team and support our worldwide Technical Service with innovative solutions that enhance product quality, food safety, and market competitiveness.
About the role:
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will:
- Support our global Technical Service team with product innovation and technical expertise.
- Assist R&D in developing and optimizing plastic casings, cooked meat packaging, and shrink bags.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (BRC, HACCP, GMP).
- Collaborate with marketing, production, and quality assurance to enhance product consistency.
- Analyze and refine product formulations (film structures) to add value and improve market appeal.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel across Europe to visit customers, distributors, and industry partners.
Youre going to be a match if you...
- Hold a Bachelor''s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Packaging Technology, Chemistry, or a related field (Masters is a plus!).
- Have some experience in food product development, preferably in a similar industry.
- Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Are familiar with food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
- Are fluent in English (Spanish is a strong plus!).
- Are willing to travel across Europe for business purposes.
- Live in the Hasselt, Belgium area.
