UL Solutions is seeking an experienced renewable energy specialist to act as a Senior Project Engineer in the Onshore Wind Due Diligence team. The role involves managing projects, preparing proposals, and interfacing with customers.This position can be remote in Italy or hybrid from Warsaw, Poland, with expected travel across Europe up to 25%.ResponsibilitiesWork with customers as the main client interface for UL Solutions, attending meetings with lenders and developers.Prepare proposals including scope of work, team budget, and schedule to meet client expectations.Manage and schedule internal and external resources to ensure project deliverables are on time, on target, and within budget.Oversee high-profile independent engineering (IE) and technical advisory (TA) projects related to project financing, sales, and acquisitions of wind projects and portfolios. This includes turbine technology review, civil and electrical design review, contract review, project schedule, financial models, CAPEX/OPEX, environmental and permitting review, site visits, and construction monitoring.Compile and complete IE and TA reports, ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded. Integrate review sections from UL Solutions and subconsultants, and ensure consistency in technical and commercial analysis. Summarize key results and conclusions.Develop communication plans and project status reports. Lead regular status meetings with internal teams, sponsors, and stakeholders.Identify project risks, barriers, and issues; propose solutions and mitigation strategies.Apply best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.Conduct site visits during construction and operation, including monthly monitoring visits to review progress, technical specifications, budget, and milestones. Prepare monthly reports.Attend regional conferences.QualificationsBachelor''s degree in Engineering.Ideally 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer in wind due diligence, project development, construction, operation, or M&A.Deep understanding of typical Due Diligence processes.Highly motivated with a versatile personality and excellent interpersonal skills.
