Saipem is One Company organized into five business lines - Asset Based Services, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, Robotics & Industrialized Solutions.PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:As an HVAC Engineer in ROIS Business line you will work in our Machinery & Package Team to design Heat Ventilation and Air conditioning systems for Industrial facilities within the upstream and downstream project as well as green technology plant with following mission.ACTIVITIES:Perform the assigned engineering activities assigned by the Project Specialist Leader, related to design, verification, or study activities, in accordance with Project requirements, within time schedule and quality standards;Ensure a correct and timely exchange of information with all the Project interfaces;Implement Saipem and ROIS division operating guidelines in the Project;Interface with other Project Specialists and Designers;Co-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside the Company;Execute the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements;Provide your contribution to capitalization of Project experience in order to improve and harmonize work methodologies through continuous improvement and best practices.You will be required to perform the following tasks:Development Technology know how and Commercial support;Provide technical support during each stage of the project (i.e. Feasibility, Basic and FEED);Review Tender technical documents;Define list of activities and deliverables, coordinate activities in accordance with Project schedule;Identify technical queries, deviations and alternatives to be submitted;Implement the bidding methodologies, the design criteria and guidelines;Assist proposal team with request for quotation for commercial purpose;Prepare engineering manhours and items and material costs estimations;Discuss with client, attend to clarification meetings.For Project Execution (Job progress and completion)Review Client technical documentation and requirements;Maintain project technical files;Control subcontracted HVAC and other building system engineering documents inside or outside the Company;Set up and execute assigned engineering activities such as detail design, verification and studies relevant to any engineering topic associated to Discipline;Prepare design specifications for HVAC System, and coordinate the design for other buildings systems such as electrical, telecommunications, fire and gas detection, firefighting inside buildings;Develop/control calculation notes for dimensioning of HVAC and other building systems;Prepare system performance and material specifications for HVAC building systems. Coordinate system performance and material specification for other building systems;Prepare/control MTOs and BOQs;Prepare S.O.W. and technical specification for HVAC and other building system construction subcontracts and assist the procurement dept. in the technical evaluations;Prepare technical documentation for HVAC material requisition and provide technical evaluations to the procurement dept;Assure technical support in checking and approval of HVAC design and construction drawings;Assure proper interface with proper technical department for checking and approval of building systems design and construction drawings;Implement discipline follow-up activities and field engineering activities;For Construction and start-up:Assist in field engineering activities;Support construction personnel as required;Collect project feedback for continuous improvement implementation.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES: Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or similar qualificationYEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3/5 years of experience in HVAC design for Petrochem / O&G industry and/or green technology field (CO2 capture/plastic recycling/green Hydrogen)SOFT SKILLS: Teamwork, leadership skills and cross-functional team coordination attitude, problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesNICE TO HAVE: Knowledge of Engineering international codes and standardsAll interested candidates (L.903/03) are invited to consult the privacy policy in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of GDPR.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionIndustries: Oil and Gas and Engineering Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
