Reisel Consulting is looking for its next Senior Structural Engineer (M/F) for an assignment with its client in the civil engineering sector in the Brussels region, for a full-time permanent position.
Your Role:
- Overseeing the design and calculations of complex structures and buildings subjected to various internal and external constraints.
- Performing structural analyses using Finite Element Method (FEM) software.
- Conducting dynamic analysis of structures and components under various conditions such as earthquakes, explosions, and extreme weather events.
- Writing technical specifications and reviewing technical documents from contractors.
- Preparing offers and tenders in collaboration with the project team.
- Leading and mentoring Junior Calculation Engineers within a team of experts.
- Ensuring compliance with quality assurance (QA) policies through detailed verification of engineering calculations.

Profile:
- Masters degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in structural analysis and design.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (Eurocodes, ASCE, ACI, etc.).
- Proficiency in Finite Element and structural analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, SCIA).
- Experience in predicting structural responses under static and dynamic loads.
- Excellent technical writing skills for detailed reports and design documentation.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
