Join us in shaping the future of clean energy as weexpand our team of dedicated experts. Role Summary: We are seekingan Electrical Engineer (Grid Connection Manager) to join our teamin Rome. This role involves managing the grid connection ofoffshore wind projects, with responsibilities covering everythingfrom preliminary design to the executive stages of electricalsystems. As a key player in our offshore wind initiatives, you''llensure project compliance with technical regulations, optimize gridconnection designs, and collaborate with both internal and externalstakeholders to drive successful project outcomes. KeyResponsibilities: - Design and size MV-LV distribution panels andHV/EHV electrical networks to support offshore wind installations.- Prepare and verify detailed project documentation, includingtechnical reports, schematics, and specifications for electricalequipment. - Analyze electromagnetic fields to ensure compliancewith safety standards and calculate safe distances. - Apply yourexpertise in renewable energy conversion systems to optimizeproject design and execution. - Independently handle the design ofelectrical systems from preliminary planning to executive designstages. - Develop calculations, technical reports, and bills ofquantities for electrical systems. - Verify project and orderdocumentation for compliance with technical standards andregulations. - Participate actively in project meetings,collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. -Review and approve supplier documentation, technical requirements,and interconnection schemes. - Conduct cable sizing verificationand review electrical material lists (MTOs) to ensure projectaccuracy and efficiency. Requirements: - Degree in ElectricalEngineering or a related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience inelectrical system design, preferably in offshore renewable energyprojects. - Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpretingplant project plans and specifications. - Solid knowledge ofindustry technical standards and energy regulations. - Excellentorganizational skills, with a strong ability to manage timeeffectively and balance multiple tasks.
