We arelooking for a hands-on DevOps Team Lead to join and lead our DevOpsteam. This role is a player-coach position where you will not onlyguide and mentor the team but also actively contribute as anengineer. You will help shape our cloud-native transformation,drive the adoption of GitOps and DevSecOps practices, and ensurethe efficiency, scalability, and security of our development anddeployment pipelines. Key responsibilities Team Leadership &Coaching Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering aculture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Support careerdevelopment and skill-building within the team. Act as a bridgebetween DevOps, Architecture, and Development teams to alignstrategies and execution. Hands-On DevOps Engineering Maintain andenhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Gradle.Optimize infrastructure for cloud-native deployments, ensuringscalability and reliability. Support and refine build automation,infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerization strategies.Develop and maintain observability solutions, ensuring reliability,security, and performance of services. Cloud-Native & GitOpsTransformation Drive the transition towards GitOps practices,automating deployment workflows and reducing manual interventions.Implement DevSecOps principles to enhance security automation andcompliance within CI/CD pipelines. Guide the team in leveragingcloud-native architectures and technologies effectively.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work closely withdevelopment teams (Java & Angular) to enhance developerexperience and streamline software delivery. Partner with securityteams to embed security-by-design principles into DevOps workflows.Communicate technical strategies and progress to senior managementand stakeholders. Required skills & experience 5+ years ofexperience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering. 2+ yearsof leadership experience (formal or informal) in a DevOps orsoftware engineering team. Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines,automation, and infrastructure-as-code. Experience with Jenkins,Bitbucket, Gradle, and GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux). Solidbackground in cloud-native architectures and deployment strategies.Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) andorchestration. Understanding of DevSecOps best practices andsecurity automation. Strong collaboration and communication skills,able to work across teams and geographies. Nice to have: Experiencewith public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their DevOpstoolchains. Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g.,Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). Background in performance tuningand system reliability engineering (SRE). Familiarity withprogressive delivery techniques (e.g., feature flags, canaryreleases).
