Taylor Hopkinson is recruiting a Senior Legal Counsel for a dynamic and growing renewable energy IPP company active across Europe.
This person will serve as the primary legal reference for all administrative and regulatory matters in Italy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance on all aspects of administrative law as it relates to the company''s operations and renewable energy projects in Italy.
- Support the development team in navigating permitting and authorisation processes at local, regional, and national levels.
- Manage relationships and communications with public authorities, regulatory agencies, notaries, and local stakeholders.
- Lead or coordinate litigation and dispute resolution related to permitting or administrative issues.
- Offer legal input on commercial and development agreements related to renewable energy initiatives.
Requirements:
- Law degree from a recognised Italian university.
- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong background in administrative law, permitting procedures, real estate, and litigation.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in both Italian and English.
