As Marketing Chief of Staff, youll take over the operational leadership of the Marketing department from the CEO. Initially, you wont be setting the strategy, but youll own the implementation of it and help shape it together with the CEO.Youll make sure the entire team is working in sync, that people are motivated and have clear priorities. Youll also be responsible for reporting and making sure that the team is hitting our goals.What will you be doing?Youll lead the internal marketing team and keep everything moving in the right direction. That means coordinating and running team operations. Making sure that our priorities are aligned with the overall strategy, and creating the conditions for great work to happen.Heres what that looks like:Be the CEOs right hand in marketing: take strategy and turn it into realityLead and manage the internal marketing teamEnsure everyone knows what theyre working on, why it matters, and how it contributes to our goalsMonitor project timelines, workloads, and deliverables across the departmentFoster accountability, motivation, and team growth through thoughtful leadershipIdentify blockers and optimize how the team workstools, processes, prioritiesKeep reporting up-to-date and communicate progress clearly to the CEO and other stakeholdersSupport hiring, onboarding, and resource planning as the team growsAfter 1 month:Youll be fully onboarded, with a solid grasp of how Plytixs PIM works and how our Marketing team is structured. Youll have built strong relationships with everyone in your team. Youll start owning short-term planning and thus helping the CEO focus more on big-picture initiatives.After 3 months:Youll be fully in charge of running the department. Youll know each team members strengths, challenges, and priorities. Youre now improving workflows, capturing actionable insights from analyzing our KPIs, and ensuring smooth execution across all ongoing initiatives.6 months in:Youre now the go-to leader for the Marketing teamtrusted by the CEO to carry the vision forward and trusted by the team to keep things clear and effective.
