The Royal Danish Embassy in Madrid is hiring a Senior Commercial Advisor Onshore Wind to join the Trade Councils Energy & Environment Team in Southern Europe.
In this high-impact role, you''ll connect Danish innovation with Spanish opportunityadvising companies, building partnerships, and helping shape the future of onshore wind in Spain and Portugal.
What Youll Be Doing
- Drive export success by identifying and developing commercial opportunities for Danish wind companies in Spain and Portugal
- Leverage and expand your industry network, engaging with developers, asset owners, authorities, and consultants
- Foster strategic partnerships and facilitate knowledge exchange between Danish and Spanish stakeholders
- Plan and lead delegations, workshops, roadshows, and networking events
- Stay on top of market trends and regulatory developments, and provide strategic insights to Danish partners
- Represent Denmark at leading wind energy conferences and summits in Spain, Portugal, and Denmark
- Promote world-class Danish wind technology through briefings and presentations to key decision-makers
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Trade Council across Southern Europe and globally to align strategy and share best practices
What Were Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience from the Spanish onshore wind sector, preferably with a strong network
- A strategic, curious, and commercially driven mindset with a genuine passion for renewables
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills; able to work independently and in teams
- A degree in engineering, or a technically related field
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to take initiative and drive projects from start to finish
