PLC Engineer Vehicle Automation (E-Mobility | Industrial Vehicles) Location: Utrecht Region | Hybrid work possible Contract type: Full-time | Through ALTEN Netherlands ALTEN is looking for a skilled PLC Engineer whos eager to work on cutting-edge vehicle automation projects in the heart of the e-mobility and smart logistics industry. Youll be part of a multidisciplinary team, working from within our clients innovation hub, helping shape the future of industrial and electric vehicles. What youll do: Develop, implement, and test PLC software (Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff/Codesys) Collaborate with system engineers, mechanical and electrical teams to integrate automation into vehicle platforms Support both RD and serial production environments Optimize logic, ensure reliability, and assist with troubleshooting during testing and commissioning phases Contribute to projects involving autonomous driving functions, energy management, and control systems You bring: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff, Codesys, etc.) Experience with mobile systems, industrial machinery, or vehicle automation is a big plus A proactive mindset and passion for high-tech engineering Proficiency in Dutch or English Why ALTEN?
