Automation Engineer - 12 Months - Rotterdam

Im currently searching for an experienced Project Automation Engineer to join my client who are located in the petrochemical industry in Rotterdam on a freelance basis. This role will focus realising automation projects and delivering the automation scope within multi-disciplinary projects. This opportunity offers an initial 6 12 month contract, with the potential for long-term extension.
You will be responsible for gate reviews, risk management, budget and quality and all project deliverables in accordance with applicable codes and standards. You will also work closely with the construction team and support FAT/SAT.
Key Requirements:
You will be part of the Automation cluster team and will be responsible your own automation projects or the automation part within multi disciplinary projects. You will be part of the sustaining capex team. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of OT, terminal automation architecture and solution architecture at my clients terminals.
