In this key role, youwill be accountable for the delivery of security as a service to aregion, composed of multiple clusters of operational sites acrossthe end-to-end supply chain to protect our people and prevent loss.Key job responsibilities - Be accountable to deliver strategicgoals and objectives of your region - Manage a team of Cluster LossPrevention Managers who provide security as a service tooperational sites within a geographical area of responsibility thatare composed of multiple clusters - Ensure all operational siteswithin your region are compliant with security standards, areregularly audited, and all sites have a robust physical securityposture - Manage relevant risks within your region (prevention,intervention, investigation) - Engage senior management within yourregion to ensure a positive working relationship, understandopportunities to support, and provide security risk guidance A dayin the life As an SLP Sr Regional Manager, you are responsible fora team of Cluster Loss Prevention Managers who provide security asa service to operational sites from across the Amazon supply chainwithin a geographical area of responsibility that are composed ofmultiple security clusters. You will be accountable for theperformance of Security and Loss Prevention within your region.Thus, you will ensure that the region can effectively deployresources to deliver day-to-day operational services. Youprioritize incoming workload and assess risks to ensure meetingservice level agreements agreed with your internal customers andproactively avoid adverse impact to the business. You will use yourknowledge and expertise to coach as well as manage your entire teamand to remove blockers that avoid them achieving their goals andobjectives. Your team manages the day-to-day tactical andoperational activities within each of the clusters; however, youwill take ownership when problems become highly complex. You willensure your team will identify, evaluate, and mitigate all securityrisks within your region and share findings and best practices withthe wider business. You are responsible for ensuring alloperational sites within your region are compliant with securitystandards, are regularly audited, and all sites have a robustphysical security posture. You own the strategic goals within yourregion and manage the planning of recruiting as well as frugaldeployment of resources. We do this by preventing security and lossprevention-related risks and vulnerabilities as early as possible,intervening in unfolding incidents to minimize any negative impactas well as thoroughly investigating security-related incidents toidentify and remove root causes, preventing reoccurrenceA degree ordegree equivalent - Relevant advanced security- or risk-relatedexperience (e.g., security services, asset protection, lossprevention, risk management, inventory management, investigations,supply chain, auditing, compliance, or similar) and capability totranslate security concepts into actions - Relevant experiencemanaging multiple teams dispersed across multiple regions as wellas development, hiring, performance management, and managingmanagers - Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite(Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment - Advancedproficiency in written Italian and upper intermediate proficiencyin written and verbal EnglishPreferred qualifications are notrequired to apply for a position at Amazon.
