Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing the Energy market by executing sales strategies to meet sales targets and ensure high customer satisfaction. You will create and complete winning bids, estimations, or quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budgets to meet market competitiveness and maintain high margins aligned with the Energy Industries sales strategy. Your goal is to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the business line Excitation profitably. The work model for this role is #LI-Hybrid. This position contributes to the Energy Industries division in Switzerland. You will mainly be accountable for:
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain solid customer relationships, ensure a positive experience, and provide technical support during sales interactions.
- Sales Execution: Enhance sales through strategic initiatives, value-based selling, target setting, and active participation in contract negotiations.
- Bid Management: Manage the preparation of competitive bids and proposals, addressing technical, financial, and project aspects, while identifying risks and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Process & Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, efficient use of tools, accurate forecasting, and support for administrative and reporting processes.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor''s or master''s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Over 8 years of experience in related fields such as Bids & Proposals, Engineering in power generation, industry projects, or services
- Previous experience in Excitation, power electronics systems, protection, or synchronous generators is advantageous
- Experience in system modeling or simulation is a plus
- Proven ability to develop strong customer and internal relationships locally and globally, with the ability to work across diverse cultures and sectors
- Fluent in English; German or French language skills are beneficial
- Willingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide, with travel commitments up to 15%.
