We are looking for a Data governance business support for a long term consultancy project with one of our client Location : East of Luxembourg-City Hybrid work after onboarding period Monthly gross salary between 6500EUR and 7000EUR Open for freelance English fluent is mandatory In this digital era, securing, handling and properly managing data is crucial to Ensure operational efficiency Protect data against misuse, exposure and other data security risks (e.g., unauthorize access, data breaches, cyber threats, data loss etc.) Compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., EU Data Act), Ensure data quality and consistency In this context, you support the implementation of a Data Governance strategy for our client. The selected business support is expected to take on the following responsibilities : Data Governance Support the development and implementation of data governance programs, including frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures Collaborate with key stakeholders to enforce data policies, procedures, and standards across various domains Data Governance compliance Help track regulatory requirements applicable to data governance activities to ensure their compliance Assist in monitoring the implementation of the data governance strategy and different policies and procedures Issue and Exception Management Assist in reviewing and validating resolutions for issues and exceptions Monitor issues and exception management processes Communication and awareness Interact respectfully, understands and seeks to integrate diverse viewpoints Promote data governance and strategy across the organization Assist in developing data governance awareness campaigns and trainings Mandatory qualifications & skills At least 3 years of experience Have a good understanding of Data Governance and its implications Possess a strong understanding of DMBoK (Data Management Body of Knowledge) topics, ISO27K Work effectively with others and proactively support and guide colleagues Communicate clearly & openly Have the ability to be autonomous Preferred qualifications & skills ISO38505, ISO8000, ISO42001 and regulations under the EU data strategy Experience in the analysis and implementation of regulation to be compliant Engage with clear and effective communication with data stakeholders Experience in writing policies and standards (e.g., data lifecycle, data quality, data security) Experience in implementing a strategy in a company
