Summary:The Data Analyst position in the Market Risk team primarily aims to ensure the accuracy and continuity of the FRTB (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) monthly production cycle, particularly due to the transition to a business-as-usual (BAU) phase amidst staff reallocations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Run and validate monthly FRTB risk numbers.
- Investigate data anomalies and perform control checks.
- Execute reconciliations and apply manual adjustments as necessary.
- Support testing activities and collaborate with various teams on process enhancements.
Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field (market risk or risk/product control).
- Strong data analysis skills with an emphasis on numerical competency.
- Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Python for automation tasks.
- Understanding of financial instruments and P&L concepts.
Nice to Have:
- Prior banking experience.
- Familiarity with FRTB and risk reporting processes.
- Experience in structured environments with regular reporting cycles.
