**Job Description:**
**Airbus Helicopters** is looking for a * Composite parts laboratories and test center responsible *(f/m)* to join our company based in * Paris le Bourget, France.**
Within Airbus Helicopters Rotor systems Analysis department (55 persons), a vacancy for ground tests and tests resources responsible located at Paris Le Bourget site has arisen.
The role of this test responsible will be to manage a team of five people dedicated to maintaining test resources and carrying out tests requested for the support of the serial composite parts production and the certification/development of new composite parts (blades, hub, fenestron ...) of the whole Airbus Helicopters fleet.
This activity represents a workload of 20000 hours of testing and the management of 11 fatigue test benches and following of 3 production main rotor whirltower.
You will work directly on the critical parts of the rotors in a high-tech environment, over the life cycle of the products.
This position is open only on a local contract and will require a security clearance or be eligible for it by the competent authorities.

*Tasks & accountabilities*
Your main tasks & responsibilities will include:
The operational management (coordination and animation) of a team dedicated to tests activities
The performance and achievement (OTM/OTC/OTQ) of all activities within the Laboratory and Test Center perimeter: Structural tests, Mechanical tests, Integrated Labs, on all Airbus Helicopters Programs and R&T.
The End-to-End project management of the laboratory investigations, failure analysis and tests by defining the priorities, balances the workload and ensures the coordination and synchronization of the activities
To provide Validated results and expertise on the mechanical behavior of helicopters composite dynamic components
To ensure the Transfer of Work from Donauworth to Paris Le Bourget for the scope of composite dynamic parts test capability and capacity.
To ensure Laboratory and Testing Capabilities (Facilities, Test Rigs, Dummies, Load introduction parts, Jacks ...) and related Control Systems including:
* Subcontracting activities follow up in test tooling design
* Maintenance of the test equipment park (with logistics), annual budget, associated IT resources and CAPEX management (investments in new benches)
* Activities on the production main rotor whirltower: design, sizing, maintenance and launch in manufacturing of interface tools for blade adjustment
To ensure Measurement Capabilities (Strain gauges, Load cells, Stereo Correlation, Acoustic Camera, Photo Elasticity, Laser trackers, Traxx system (tension measurement in bolts), etc...).
To ensure the strain gauges equipment and calibration of fatigue test components.
To provide serial or prototype blades with strain gauges equipment used during flight campaigns to measure loads.
* Your profile : *
You will have the following skills and experience:
* Educated to 5 years'' degree level (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering
* 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanics
* Good relationship and team management (at least 2/3 years)
* At least 2 years of experience in mechanical Testing.
* Mechanical skills, RDM, composite and metallic materials
* Validation of test measurements
* Test means design and build
* Test means operation and maintenance
* Fatigue/Static test experience
* Certification Knowledge
* Good english level in reading/speaking/writing
* A Negotiation level in French is required
