We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The Logistics Coordinator plays an important role in the European logistics organization, supporting the distribution center in Kerkrade, to fulfill our customer needs. Reporting to the European Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will focus on providing a profitable, reliable and timely service to our customers (internal and external). This role requires a hands-on approach and will support the European Logistics Manager in optimizing our logistics operations .
Transportation Planning: Develop and implement transportation plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Project Management: Lead and participate in logistics projects, ensuring they are completed on time and successfully.
Oversee and coach a logistics team of four, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance logistics operations. Follow-up on quality notifications, conduct Root Cause Analysis, etc.
Prepare and present reports (metrics) on logistics performance to (senior) management.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments globally to coordinate logistics activities and resolve any issues.
Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Bachelor''s degree (or equivalent) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a professional logistics environment.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Proficiency in Dutch and English.
Strong systems skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). (SAP knowledge is desirable.)
