NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for theimplementation of the EIB funded project called: Public Sector LoanFacility Advisory for the Maritsa East Complex and is searching forexperts to support the core team during the implementation of thisproject. Location: Bulgaria. Duration: The intended start date isJuly 2025 (the Start Date) and the period of implementation ofthe Assignment will be 20 months from this date (the Period ofImplementation). Key Expert: Senior Renewable Energy & EnergyStorage Expert (Cat. II) Qualifications and skills: - At least aBachelors degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering,Energy Systems, or a related field (minimum requirement). -Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English (minimumrequirement). - Proficiency in solar modelling and energysimulation tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, HOMER, or similar) willbe considered an asset. General professional experience: - Atleast 10 years of professional experience in renewable energyproject development, energy storage systems, and feasibilitystudies (minimum requirement). Specific professional experience:- Experience in technical and economic assessments of large-scalerenewable energy projects as demonstrated by 3 projects (minimumrequirement). - Experience in the design, feasibility assessment,and development of solar PV and energy storage projects asdemonstrated in at least 3 projects in the experts CV (minimumrequirement). - Experience conducting grid impact assessments andintegration studies for renewable energy projects will beconsidered an asset. - Strong understanding of EU renewable energyregulations, permitting, and funding mechanisms will be consideredan asset. - Experience working on coal transition regions within EUcountries will be considered an asset.
