What is it like to be a Quality Assurance Manager at DHV Technology?
As a Quality Assurance Manager at DHV Technology, you will lead the assurance of product quality throughout the entire manufacturing process, from supplier components to final customer delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, implementing quality strategies, and managing a team of highly qualified quality engineers and inspectors.
This is a strategic and hands-on role within our manufacturing operations, where your leadership will directly impact product excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives in a high-tech aerospace environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Functional and hierarchical leader of the quality engineering and cleanroom inspection teams.
- Ensure that all products meet quality requirements before final delivery to the customer.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the companys quality and environmental management systems.
- Oversee incoming inspection processes, including quality control of supplier materials and components, as well as supplier audits and qualifications.
- Validate inspections performed on incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and final products.
- Conduct product audits during the manufacturing cycle, based on applicable international or customer standards.
- Perform process audits according to internal documentation and external requirements.
- Participate in defining project work orders, including process flows, control points, and quality criteria.
- Manage manufacturing non-conformities and support Product Assurance with NCR handling and root cause analysis.
- Lead the certification process for manufacturing procedures and personnel, in coordination with the Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Oversee traceability, alerts, product acceptance criteria, statistical quality analysis, metrology, calibration, and the correct handling, storage, and transport of product.
- Validate final product quality documentation for internal approval and customer delivery.
- Ensure proper implementation of ESD controls, cleanroom cleanliness, and contamination control (ISO 8), in accordance with industry standards or internal requirements.
Job Requirements:
Academic Background:
- Minimum: University degree in a science or technical field.
- Desired: Degree in Industrial, Aerospace, Electrical/Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A Masters in Quality Management Systems is highly desirable.
Professional Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in similar positions, ideally between 5 and 10 years, preferably in the aerospace or industrial sector.
Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
- Proficiency in basic office software tools.
- Experience in:
- Quality control for electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
- Industrial inspection and metrology.
- Product and process auditing.
- Non-conformity management, root cause analysis, and action follow-up.
Languages:
Advanced English proficiency (C1), spoken and written.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to manage a team of 10+ quality professionals.
- Structured, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
- Critical thinking and commitment to continuous improvement.
