About the FSTM

Your role

EVITA is a Horizon Europe strategic project with the mission of creating a sustainable and dynamic EuroHPC Virtual Training Academy that empowers learners, educators, professionals, and researchers across Europe in the multidisciplinary field of HPC, including related areas such as emerging technologies and their cross-cutting dimensions. The vision for EVITA is a thriving European HPC ecosystem where knowledge knows no boundaries. The EVITA consortium''s primary objective is to establish and maintain the EuroHPC Virtual Training Academy with a robust governance structure, high-quality training and learning materials, and a sustainable plan. FSTM''s main tasks are to contribute to the definition of the body of knowledge and competencies, assist in developing the skill tree used as a foundation for the Competence and Qualification Framework and contribute to the survey of the STEM curricula landscape to align the qualification scheme with existing programmes at all universities. FSTM will also work on establishing a standardised pedagogical approach and designing a training module format, developing and executing modules within the consortium to pilot and verify the set-up process.
