I am on the search for a Data Architect to work with a great client in the insurance sector within Brussels. In order to be considered for this position you must be able to speak French, Dutch and English to a high level.
As a Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing the data strategy of the organization to support business objectives. You will be responsible for defining data structures, governance, and best practices while ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility across the organization.
Some of the responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Design and maintain the organization''s data architecture in alignment with business and IT strategy.
Define and document data models, flows, and structures to support analytics, reporting, and operational processes.
Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
Define data modelling techniques and database structures to support business intelligence and operational needs.
Oversee data integration and ETL processes to ensure seamless data movement between systems.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable data solutions.
Support data-driven decision-making by ensuring accessibility to high-quality data.
Requirements
Strong expertise in data architecture, data modelling, and database design.
Hands-on experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
Experience with Cloud data platforms (AZURE, AWS, etc.).
Solid knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and modern data warehousing technologies.
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and analytics platforms.
More than 5 years experience in a similar role as a Data Architect.
Excellent knowledge of French or Dutch, with the ability to follow conversations in the other language English is a must-have.
