As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you need to continuously adapt to changes. You will directly manage 3 foremen and indirectly supervise around 25 employees per shift. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for a 2-shift system. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you are fully operationally responsible for the Deposit Netherlands operation. Together with your fellow supervisors, you ensure that the location can operate 24/7.

Beschrijving

Every day, you ensure that the employees on-site can do their jobs as effectively as possible. This means optimizing operations on the floor, but also making sure that everything employees need to perform their jobs well is present and available. Additionally, you identify opportunities for improvement and work to resolve bottlenecks.

Specifically, your tasks and responsibilities include

• Creating long-term plans regarding staffing and materials, including coordinating with external parties when necessary
• Monitoring and analyzing logistics processes, always seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensuring the execution of urgent assignments and adjusting work processes in case of exceptional circumstances
• Reporting to the site manager and being able to act as their replacement in their absence
• Handling administrative tasks such as time tracking and reporting to stakeholders

• You have at least two years of experience in a similar leadership role in a logistics environment
• You have proficiency in using computers and Excel
